2007 Annual Calendar Contest!

Categories are based on the "Seasons": Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter. We will make a standard wall calendar with two (2) photos from each category; the top two ranked photos. The other 4 months will be webmasters' choice, as will the cover photo. We will also do four collage calendars (single photo with all 12 months underneath) from the top ranked photos from each category, IF there are enough entries (at least 20 in each category). Voting will begin October 1st, 2006 and will run through October 31st. Winners will be announced no later than November 5th and calendars will be available for purchase by December 15th.

Photos may be submitted up until the day voting begins. Please submit high quality, high resolution photos only. You may submit smaller versions on the site (to save space), but be sure to have a high resolution version of your photo should it be a winner. The calendars (in print form) are only as good as the photos entered! Winning entries will be retouched, copped, sized, and otherwise adjusted as needed.

All of those that enter photos will be bumped up to a 10mb user account when voting has begun and entries are locked in. Winners will receive a Premium+ User account, which has 30mb of storage space. Our standard free membership is 5mb.

Rules

• No more than two (2) photos per member, per category may be submitted.
• No previous winners may be submitted again.
• Entries must be in by September 30th, 2006 10pm EST, 7pm PST.
• Entries must have at least one horse, pony, foal, mule, or donkey in the photo.
• Photos must match the category they are entered in. For example, if you are entering a photo in the Spring category, the background or general feel of the picture should be one of Springtime.
• Please be nice! No voting down competing images just to raise your ranks. This usually doesn't work anyway.
• Do NOT sign up for multiple accounts just to vote on your image(s). Your IP address is recorded and we do watch carefully for this kind of cheating.
• Cheaters of any type will be ban from the site and their image(s) pulled from the contest!
• We reserve the right to reject any photos that do not meet the quality guidelines as stated above. Poor quality photos make look okay on screen, but people who buy any of the calendars will be quite disapointed with the printed results...
