Problems?

Here are some common member questions:

I cannot log in with the username and password I had on the old site, 2HotToTrot.com.
You will have to sign up for a new account. You can use the same username and password that you had on the old site.

How do I move my pictures from the old site to the new one?
You can't. You will have to re-upload your pictures to the new web site. There are some slight category changes, so please make sure you are uploading your photos in the proper area.

How much space do I get?
Standard free memberships give you 5mb of space to store photos. Very few members will run out of space. If you do run out, larger accounts are available for a small fee. Email Barbara at barbara@equinefriends.com for more information.

How do I upload photos?
First you must register for a free account. Click Here to register. You can also register a new account by clicking the "Register" link just below the site logo on the upper right hand side of the page. Fill out the required information and click "Submit". A confirmation email will be sent to you within 30 minutes. Click on the link in the email to confirm your email address and activate your account. If the confirmation email is not in your inbox within 24 hours, check your junk/bulk folder. If you still do not see it, email Barbara at barbara@equinefriends.com with your username and she will activate your account for you. Once your account is activated, log in to the web site. Go into the section you'd like to upload photos to and click on the "Upload Photos" link just below the site logo on the upper right hand side of the page. Your photo must be in .jpg or .jpeg format. You can upload 3 pictures at a time that will be in the same category.

I registered, but I can't upload any photos or vote!
First make sure that you are logged into the site. If you are not logged in, you should see a "Login" link just below the site logo on the upper right hand side of the front page. If you are logged in, but still cannot upload photos or vote, you most likely did not activate your account. Once you register, you are sent a confirmation email. You MUST click on the link provided in the email in order to activate your account. This step confirms that your email address is valid. Once you click on this link you will be able to upload photos and vote. If the confirmation email is not in your inbox within 24 hours after registration, check your junk/bulk folder. If you still do not see it, email Barbara at barbara@equinefriends.com with your username and she will activate your account for you.

When I try to register a new account, I get a green box on the page with a big dot in the middle. My username isn't valid when I try to log in!
This is because our systen doesn't like your email address. This usually occurs when there is a . somewhere in your email address before the @ symbol. Try registering an account with another email address. If you don't have another email address, you can register a free email account with http://www.yahoo.com and http://www.hotmail.com, both are good services. If you are still having problems, email Barbara at barbara@equinefriends.com with the username you would like and we will create your account for you.

My account is valid, but I can't login.
This often happens because your computer's clock and/or date is not right. Double click on the time in the lower right hand corner of your screen. Make sure the time, including AM/PM, and date are correct.

I get an error when trying to upload my photo(s).
This may be because your photo is too large or in a format that is not supported by our system. Photos must be in .jpg or .jpeg format. Photos also must be smaller than 200k in file size, or smaller than 800 pixels tall or wide. Having the wrong date and/or time on your computer may also be a contributing factor. Double click on the time in the lower right hand corner of your screen. Make sure the time, including AM/PM, and date are correct.
