I am so sorry to see this. It's so depressing. Is this the mare that just had the foal a few months ago??

Yes, its the mare that had the foal "Minnie". Luckily, Minnie did not get sick (she had been weaned for about a month). The mare is now healthy! I posted pics so others could see what it looks like. Scary thing to go through.
