Boy, she does look fragile there.........hope we'll see her again sometime looking like a typical spunky filly!

Thanks, Donna. Actually, she's doing very well. She's an interesting and amazing story. She would NOT take milk in any form when her dam died. We tried everything: bottle-feeding; using a syringe; putting the milk in a bucket. And we tried different types of milk and milk powders. We even tried adding gelatin and Kool-Aid to the milk. We also brought out another mare that was able to nurse her and she wouldn't nurse. So, she has survived on nothing but grain from 7 days old. You can see how well she came on eventually. She's now 20 months. Which means I need to update the site.
